What is resilience? Resilience refers to the ability of an individual, family or community to cope with adversity and trauma, and adapt to challenges or change (SAMHSA). Capacities that develop and strengthen our resilience may include inner calm, seeing options more clearly, shifting perspectives and responding flexibly, choosing actions, perseverating in the face of doubt.

Learn Healthy Ways To Navigate Stressful Times.
As Graham, (2018) points out, all of these qualities are innate in your brain. I welcome you to take the next step to learning and rediscovering your own resilient capacity for finding your way through personal challenges such as trauma, life transitions, sudden health changes and relationship stressors.
Services
This workshop is for couples who may have a partner who is not yet ready for couples therapy but would be open to learning more about relationship skills in more of a class format. This workshop may also be great if you are a couple who has a strong relationship that could benefit from additional tools and insights to make your relationship even better. Finally, if you are a couple who are experiencing some distress this workshop will provide a roadmap for repair, improved communication and connection. This workshop is a great way to prepare to continue on with Gottman -oriented couples therapy.
